Leona Heritage Park Wine Tasting Fundraiser

On Saturday, June 25, 2005,  a wine and cheese tasting was held at the Leona Valley Community Center.  It was an enjoyable evening, under the stars, in beautiful Leona Valley.  We would like to thank the following wineries for coming out and hope you will visit their web sites.

The event was the kick off fundraising efforts of the Leona Valley Sertoma Club for the new building that is to be part of the new Leona Heritage Park.  The park will consist of the new building, which will be used to display and store artifacts from Leona Valley’s past, and The Old Leona Valley Schoolhouse which the West Antelope Valley Historical Society is renovating. The park is located on the northwest corner of the LVIA property on Elizabeth Lake Road and will be overseen by the West Antelope Valley Historical Society when completed.
